Vita alert and aroused  -  @ 12:42:pm
One can assert ones authority without becoming rude or
authoritarian One can exude an air of quiet confidence
that exudes trust and automatically inspires respect
not to mention unfolding cooperation, if one is open to
these qualities in oneself and the other.

We must all approach our decision and interactions with
insight compromise and collaboration. One can do all of
this and much more for oneself and the other... One
must avoid being judgmental or fearful of ones needs
or the needs of the other?.

It is far more refreshing to be open, use ones tantalizing
and discerning ways to achieve ones desires. Use the mink
inside ones self and speak with genuine love not anger?

Always say what one needs to say with a gentle touch and
one will inevitably be successful.

We are ALL sensitive to each other?s position and endless
expectations. Confusion is a holding pattern when we are
not clear with our true intent..Send out clear concise
signs and a clear voice....with an open heart or a divine
look or touch?

Be subtle, loving and mindful of others heartfelt needs.

We must expand evolve and incorporate to truly understand
one another Listen and hear the others truth without any
misguided frustration or anger.

Be relaxed conscious alert and aroused to this way of being?

Outside influences and a loving pace  -  @ 06:01:pm
Perceived outside influences tend, to encourage
us to move faster than we often need to. It is
always valuable to SLOW things down to a pace
which allows genuine choices to be made based
on real needs and desires.

We must not always rush our actions, decisions
or activities or act in haste. We must live and
act in a sustainable manner that incorporates our
whole BE/ING and the world we wish to sustain....

www.slf.org.au/festival/

There are always incredible things going on in
our life right now! We can tend to overlook the
simpler things and interesting people that are
within our reach. We must sustain those we love
and not over look them in the pursuit of external
or even temporary pleasures?

We must all remember to take exquisite moments to
spend time with those we love to enhance our being.
There is plenty of time to when we MAKE TIME. This
allows us to do whatever we needs and to genuinely
experience our truest dreams that sustain us...

Our mental and spiritual health is enhanced when
we reach back into our memory and beliefs to revalue
re examine what blocks our progress. When we pull
out our bigger self our BEST "pearls of wisdom'
appear before us.

We are then set free to move forward. Self-denial
and self-disdain are simply ways to deny the self
what one truly wants and needs. It is best practice
to let go of old habits and old emotions that hinder
ones most productive self.

That is our moment to make a difference in our life's.
Great actions and movements like the SLF are very very
sustainable. One can re write the script to encompass
new learning and new ways of loving our world.

Tear stains for the cheetah and changing weather  -  @ 12:37:pm
A tank without water is comparative to a
soul with no spirit or a body, that is
not fluid and present..Or a life that
is parched and very dehydrated from
lack of love?

So conserve ones water re/sources. Be
very aware and mindful of what gifts
one has.. Be aware whether it is
material organic or human resources
that ONE is USING!! Always consume
and replenish the ?spring? in the
garden, of ones love & ones life.

Be mindful of our natural resources,
then we can all live in the tropics
of our heart body and soul?

Percieved Perfection and Right Timing  -  @ 12:41:pm
Trusting our own deepest instinct is all we need
to do to accept ourselves, and how we achieve our
goals and desires in every moment. Often times we
pressure ourselves into perceived perfection. This
is always a saboteur/ trap?for ALL of US. We need
to be aware of this and continue chanting this to
ourselves.

Perfection and right timing is with us right NOW!!

www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

This is particularly useful when one feels we
are not achieving our BEST!! We must ALL simply
to strive do our best on the day. No more nor no
less!!.

We must accept that we cannot do everything that
we necessarily set out do on the day!!, So sit
back relax and let the magic of the day unfold
before one..Let go of unnecessary control and
restrictive ideals that leave one feeling over
burdened and wrongly guilty of "should have
achieved."

Let go of negative self-talk and release the
self from outdated rules. We must all learn to
relinquish control and allow the flow of life
to take US to the mountain top and be living
every moment as it is.

David endorses Vox/eco finger print  -  @ 08:21:pm
Unlimited potential
Never allow limited expectations/and beliefs get in the way
of ones unlimited potential.......

"Observing our respiration is also the means for practicing right
awareness. Our suffering stems from ignorance. We react because
we do not know what we are doing, because we do not know the
reality of ourselves.

The mind spends most of the time lost in fantasies and illusions,
reliving pleasant or unpleasant experiences and anticipating the
future with eagerness or fear. Our past is a guide for ordering
our actions in the future,"
S.N. Goenka, in The Art of Living"
from Everyday Mind, edited by Jean Smith, a Tricycle book

.....so we may attain and sustain our goals and our world...
Chase the joy of a sustainable world get involved in the song of
sowing our future...... A song a day sustains and maintains the
future.

To Practice This Thought: Sing to yourself at least once a day.
Get the other to sing along and sustain the streets of our towns
and the future of our world ....Always join in whenever possible
and create a new more vital sustainable life.

Goddess's in IT  -  @ 02:55:pm
?Female IT professionals have posed for a provocative
calendar to try and shake off their industry's geeky
image and encourage young women to consider a computing
career.

Gold Coast-based IT speacialist Sonja Bernhardt said
their motivation for the calendar was the rapidly
declining number of women taking up computer studies &
careers.?

"The IT Screen Goddesses Calendar features women from
the IT industry posing as movie sirens, such as the
bikini-clad Ursula Andress in the James Bond movie Dr
No and the rose petal scene from the movie, American
Beauty."

"Statistics show us that one of the biggest barriers
to entry is the perception of the industry," said Sonya .
"We want to completely smash this by doing this in a
parody way. ? We've been there, we've done that with
traditional programs. We now know that it is time to
do something dramatically different to appeal to a
broader audience and to generate a healthy debate."

The models came from all mainland Australian states as
well as South Africa, Finland and Sri Lanka. They range
in age from 20 to 60 years. "Each month includes a
biography of the woman featured that month, as well as
a significant date in technology history, covering
leading technology women," Ms Bernhardt said.
The Age Newspaper today

IT in the semi nude is it art or sound career advice?

IT Goddess?s taking a provocative approach in a proactive
way!! Having NOW spoken to a well known careers advisor
(LJK). I am not sure whether it will stimulate seduce or
indeed encourage a rush of scantly clad goddess?s to
create fabulous IT careers?

However it could well become an extreme sport slightly
dangerous yet courageous dealing wih ones technical
matters semi NUDE......One might suggest some Barbie
gumboots be added to the look. One can never be too
safe When dealing with electrical goods and all those
buttons. One must put OHS in the forefront or find ones
hair could be curlier than is actually necessary?.

VITA's business advice

Certainly an innovative idea for the modern Goddess
handing out technical advice at Noosa... There is a
vast potential market for those with beach front
aspirations and the laptop/ wireless market in mind...
Mmmm must get thee to my personal trainer....Ah ya ya
brillant a piggy back business's on the beach LOVELY
idea...

There, may well be merit in this very MODERN careers
advice. These very NOW goddess?s, may well be fostering
economic independence for a whole generation of Goddess's
who live in the tropics?. They are certainly upping the
ante on the look of IT in the naughties?..My people
MUST speak to their people.....

They are obviously willing to do their part. Yet are
some of these the parts needed to be portrayed? I guess
it is one up on a phone campaign run by my managing
director in the late 80?s that was called-

?Math?s multiplies ones choices? ( that was
designed to attract young women to the sciences)
Mmmmm?..They certainly had not considered products
of this nature for that campaign damn it??

Encouraging or sharing your feelings and exposing
your form are quite different matters. Will this
attract more young women to IT or create more
temporary pleasure for men?? Is this calender seductive
NEW career advice or branding??

Will this build financially viable healthier career
choices for women and equality in a traditional geek?s
domain?

Ms Bernhardt, the founder of Women in Technology Queensland
(WIT) and co-founder of Australian Women in IT (AWISE).
She is the only Australian to have been inducted into Women
in Technology International's hall of fame.

The calendar is being launched officially at Movieworld on
the Gold Coast on August 11th.( Madonna's birthday)

Women's Voices Birth the world  -  @ 05:52:am
The BlogHer Debate question for 2005 was this:
"Where are the women bloggers".This years is
"how do you want the world to learn about what
you're creating : if at all? Do you want to change
the game??.These are key discussion point for this
years conference. Yet most importantly how is it
effecting ones world: community political and the
personal.....

Blogher is on again and is being organised by some
of what I consider remarkably evolved, inspirational
women. Who are shaking the cage of a world behaving
badly (Or being so cutting edge as I am) questioning
those behaving in a very last century kind of way????

One could even say the Blogher team and women
on the site are value adding and having the voice of
women resonate round the world!!!

The Blogher Conference is in full swing and ready to bump
in downtown or is that uptown San Jose in July 2006? The
usual questions are being asked about patriarchy, who owns
what and who determines the value of a bloggers site. But
mostly who is best suited to speak on the issue!!

Just yesterday I wrote to the crew at Technorati (keeping
in mind there is no such word according to Bills dictionary)
and indeed asked the question on their rating system of
blogging sites.

Indeed they were keen as mustard for feedback polite?
but were very clear on their site they may never return
my call/ email?..Very amusing "we will determine the state
of how we value others sites, we can judge it but we can?t
talk about it"??? Mmmmm very not NOW ... Or do they not
acknowledge the skills they have and their knowledge may
differ to those they are choosing to judge...??
( Don't get me wrong all that very NOW tech talk is
fabulous.... )

Maybe like a lot of people who presume a power position
and tend to judge others, they may well think it is all
about them and their needs being met?? Are they friends
of George Tony and John? Have they even read Islam under
Siege yet?

In fact this is not necessarily the best way to neither
determine sites popularity nor in fact value sites at all??
As the lovely and articulate Lisa Stone has mentioned
on the Blogher debate

?the ?Technorati Top 100 and TLB Ecosphere, rank
blogs based on the number of incoming links (not
quality).? The miniscule number of women on these lists
is as unrepresentative of women bloggers as the number
of women CEOs in the Fortune 500 (eight) is to the number
of women working (nearly 50 percent).?

Shocked and mortified am I to think this attitude appears
to go on and on. This can be seen in other mediums as
well. Deepa Mehta?s, new film Water( her third
film of the trilogy after Fire and Earth) in which she show
the shocking story of how ?widowed? women/ girls are valued
in India. An extraordinarily moving film well worth watching
and considering the levels of patriarchy that still exist...
Reminding one of how lucky some of us truly are. This story
is based in 1938 but there fate in 2006 still remains the
same???..

linkwww.waterbrightlightsfilm.com/28/water.html

We must hear and listen to women?s voices world wide
what ever shape form or medium it appears in.......
See you in San Jose

Brave men in flight  -  @ 02:01:pm
The blush may be back, but what about good manners
honesty and respect in the work place? What exactly
is going on at the ABC? They should be more than
blushing over there with a new- found freedom to
dismiss at a distance.

The ?new? IR ethics of dismissal appear, to be in
full swing at Southbank. ABC Helicopter pilot,
photographer and all round extremely talented
person: Roger Dundas has been left swirling
midair without his blades. It would appear
dropped, with a dull thud and very little
detail of why by the ABC.

Roger has been described as a highly respected ABC
employee, with a dedication to ?auntie? not to be
sneered at nor flown past without decent photo?s or
due respect. He is seen as ?one of the safest and
most skilled pilots in Melbourne?

After 23 years of documenting (from the air prey
tell) fires, sporting events and other major
catastrophes, he is experiencing his own
catastrophe......

This dismissal from a distance, out of sight
out of mind IR nightmare is an appalling way
to treat any employee. What does it say for
communication in the naughties??

It indicates an outrageous lack of respect for
a long- term member of staff. Roger has put his
life in danger, to get the images out there.
Word on the ground is this act of industrial
relations menace was done by text message.
Oh how brave is that?

Is this the way of IR in Australia now? Sackings,
via a text message with versions of ?U R sacked?.
Or U can go now? Hmmm it may well reflect a whole
generation of HR personnel with literacy based
problems.

It clearly indicates a different understanding
and set of values on the importance of skills
and longevity. How many 24 year olds have the
necessary flying hours that the lovely Roger
has acquired?

Where will we park/land the helicopter now we
may well ask? Who will fly it, and what of this
unceremonious sacking of a brave, enterprising,
outdoorsy chopper pilot?

Was the dockland pad to pricey is Essendon to far
out? What were all those time and motion studies
about? Who was wasting whose time? What is this
really all about? I suspect questionable HR methods,
the demise of a generation, and the return of the
industrial revolutions. treatment of the worker is
in full flight...

At the least this behavior could be seen as a micro-
management showing its major limitations. This
behavior is certainly not very innovative nor
helpful.

This IR debacle in 2006 will no doubt compete with
the conspiracy theories of Amelia?s disappearance
in 1937.How many of us must disappear before we act
with rightful outrage???

I am sure Amelia would have felt much safer and
may well have not disappeared with a SMA 7801,a
?Roaring forties Survival Vest.?

linkwww.acepilots.com/earhart.html

I suspect all workers trying to survive in this
IR environment will need to consider buying one.
Not to mention the ?Roaring Forties Open
Reversible Life Raft?.

More on this IR issue and brave men in flight
soon???.

Melbournes Sport and Pleasure  -  @ 10:27:am
The 18th Commonwealth Games are on in earnest in
Melbourne which according to the Jamaican Observer
?have been the biggest and the most spectacular yet.?

Approximately 80,000 spectators and 4,500 athletes
were present on launch night (at the Melbourne icon
the MCG,) not to mention an old queen her surly
boyfriend, a head of state shadowed, by his own terror....
(no not Janette).......

The lovely Steve and Terri were present and I'm sure
anyone close up and personal to the Commonwealth
games Prrrring team ........

Our Justin (The State Minister for Sport &
Pleasure).... did not seem to play a key role??
Mmmm.....Why prey tell? He of course is an extreme
sport in himself and quite charming to be around......

More fun than others who made their presence felt....
Was this all about Ron Ron Ron???Who?s Party was
it eh??

Seems however it was not designed for the digital
flat screen, definitely a live show not to be seen
again for at least another 50 years.......Herb
Marjorie John and Ron Clarke certainly got a chance
to go down memory lane....

(There are several Ron's on this gig!!It would appear
to be a generational name...)

Cathy looked long suffering and possibly wondering
when imperalism will end and aboriginal art will be
shown more respect.

It was estimated the global television audience
for the 18th Commonwealth games opening ceremony
could well have reached 1.5 million people world wide??.

What would they make of Mr Barassi wading about in
the not so clean Yarra river. Football icons looking
a tad out of place on a floating football field??

What of Michael's Duck, and small boys floating
about being saved by Koala's.. And what has become
of the dreams of the original owners 'of this
southern land". What perspective do they have on
the whole thing.....???

Will international audiences wonder why we are
treating our queen of pop like an extreme singing
sport? Or did it leave one hoping she may well be
part of the main feature of the fire works display?

Or prey tell was the flying tram an ingenious new
way of moving about a congested city, more extreme
than Bangkok??.?? And really ballerina?s and boys
on BMX style motor bikes. Very 1970 something me
thinks....or possibly retro Mmmm no....! Was that
Ron?s idea on the polarities of culture
in Marvellous Melbourne??????

Then of course what of the financial longevity for
those in the arts who offered endless sacred ethics
to this rather curious event....? Will their
accountants be pleased to see them in June or look
with pity at their creative goodwill and poverty.

Is this their rightful role in cultural Melbourne
according to some wth no idea.......it would seem to
be the case.

Matters of Sporting Pleasure

The swimmers have left the pool before getting too
wet and wrinkly. The shooters can now find the delights
of Lilydale shopping or a better bet Domain Chandon
in the Yarra Valley??.

linkwww.yarra-valley.net.au/

A wee girl from Wales has lifted twice if not three
times her body weight to win the first gold for Wales
in Melbourne last night. ?Michaela Breeze won Wales'
first gold of the Commonwealth Games when she put in
a record-breaking sequence of lifts to win the women's
63kg weightlifting.? Not to mention kissing her
tools of the trade as she left the stage??.

The Indians are of too the regions to play basketball
in Steve?s home town. Another young chap from the
greener regions of Victoria, Castlemaine cyclist
Sean Finning, worked those rather firm young thighs
around the Melbourne Park like a small cyclone.
Wining gold for Australia in the 40 km points.
Bless those country lanes around Castlemaine the
cheapest training track a boy could find......

The world's fastest man the lovely and rather handsome
Jamaican Asafa Powell and Australian middle distance
runner Craig Mottram will move quickly no doubt through
the spotlight tonight. As they create some good head
winds at the track and field events at the Games tonight.

Vita's glamour &Westgarth's full program  -  @ 06:48:am
Words of Wisdom
"With every movie, they say you make it three times
when you write it, when you shoot it, and when you edit
it. It's especially true in the horror genre. It's so
visceral that things that read scary on the page often
don't work on the screen and things that read mundane
on the page you know, 'She walks down the hallway' can
be entirely gripping.

It really is a process of discovery, image-wise, in movies
that need to be scary. You think you know what's scary at
different places in the process and you may or may not be
right. The audience will tell you."

Tools in the shed of life  -  @ 12:56:pm
Tool Kits
Whether you?re a Goddess living in cyber space or a well
known ?Duchess bravely enduring restricted circumstance.?
A ladder, a drill a torch, and ranges of hammers are a
must have in the tool kit of life.....

Not to mention comfortable out door furniture and a good
supply of local and international magazines. These may
well include the ABC Delicious magazine, Gourmet
traveler. Independent film and purse size literature are
also imperative.

My favourites include ?The Rough Guide to Melbourne?
(which is a fairly unfortunate title really), and the
absolutely delighful ?Action Heroines Handbook?.
Both have come in handy indeed, for a wee Goddess
whom is living in the wonderous world of cyberspace.

One can just click on the ?coms? and slip between the
cyber pages as opposed to the ?sheathe? with very little
fuss. One can soar and glide through the cyber world,
without lifting ones weight or fingers.

For those living on earth and or in foreign parts (or
who indeed may well have foreign parts, yet unexamined,
or indeed less traveled as Verne might say........)

Click on the ?com?s? below and familiarize ones self with
these 2 sites

Find out more on the best ways to outrun the baddies in a
?high, speed chase? wearing inappropriate heels and
a Bonds Bra... (I am sure Sarah wonders a little about our'
"Rupert?s", intentions on occasion)!!!

These are in fact my thoughts and not mentioned in this
book. However some finer points on "Bustier" support are
indeed suggested by Jen and Joe.

Pre Melbourne Cup Communciation  -  @ 09:40:am
SPRING CARNIVAL COMMUNICATION

I am feeling a little ?Carrie with a surly Melbourne
Goddess edge?
today. I have been contemplating life
in the "naughties? and the art of speech. Frankly
my dears I am a tad plain about the mouth today as I'm
sure all New York goddess's can well understand.

(I must polish my Blahniks and sharpen my tongue.)

The complexities of communication in the Naughties is
not for the feeble, faint hearted or the shy. Making
true connections is not as simple as days gone by.

We are on a roller coaster of communication that is
like a new extreme sport. In fact it may well be a
lesiure pursuit for some. What ever it be, it is a
whole new ball game not to mention time consuming
and at times very grating.

It is a constant conundrum deciding which method is
best and what is the take out message one could leave.
Hmmm?. Mmmmmm?...

THE FUTURE OF TELSTRA

Should one call the landline? Will the mobile be picked up?
Should one leave a message? What are the legal ramifications
of talking on ones mobile, while navigating ones descent from
the tram or even more precarious, crashing into hat stands in
David Jones.

Will chatting become a no no and go the way of the car
phone? What are the public liability issues when you have
stepped into a recycle bin, while sending a text message
to ones love interest?

I imagine on some of these issues it will sit neatly into
the Federal government?s mantra of user pays. It begs the
question who is using whom?

COMFY CHAIRS AND CHATTING

Of course email is a less precarious and a safer option.
Certainly less dangerous if you have a steady office
chair. Then of course one wonders will the email be
read today? Or will the email be placed in a pending
file? Does the receiver give a toss or love truly
madly deeply? Dare I say passionate about their
issue or just a tad intense?

How important is the message one needs to leave. Is
it an actionable request, requiring an immediate
response? Or does the email simply convey ones
love of the other or provide a simple act of
courtesy? Sensible subjects and meaningful content
make all the difference.

THE FUTURE OF SCRABBLE
Then of course there is the dreaded text message, a whole
fascinating new language. A laborious way of avoiding
communication and often times open to misinterpretation.

The text message has silenced a whole generation and I feel
created a massive literacy based problem. ?How R U?
Charming in its simplicity yet one wonders what will become
of scrabble? Maybe it could do with a revamp one letter words
could become very chic.

EATING YOUR WORDS

Call me old fashioned but one used to go out for a meal
to chat with friends, to catch up on all things great
and gorgeous. Now it would appear a whole generation
has grown up, who eat out and text other people not
present.

Oh what a complex tapestry we weave. Why one would chat,
to others not present seems most peculiar. Is it a longing
for the past or what has been? Or is it an excellent way to
say:

"darling I do love you but you are tardy, should I order
the Mongolian Beef"

or ?you?re missing out my dear, get here soon we have
nearly finished the spring rolls.?

SPAM

Of course those old enough to know, still think SPAM is a
rather horrid looking cold cut served ?Goddess knows how?.
Something to be avoided at all costs certainly not to be
served nor seen, at respectable bridge parties or at
Melbournes Spring Carnival 2005.

In fact the SPAM of the naughties has pretty much the same
distressing effect on one. It begs one to ponder the issue.
Is this some nasty branding joke?

Is the SPAM of the naughties aptly named and packaged
as a product that is constantly being emailed to us???

Urgh ....

No matter it indicates a level of communication that
really is not a viable means of attracting an audience.
Nor does it win friends or influence people.

The SPAM of the naughties is the worst and most insidious
form of communication I am inclined to think it is the
Imperialism of the Naughties.

How dare these vile and mindless people fill our emails
and on occasion websites with absolute garbage. It is
not wanted nor asked for. So do NOT do it. As these
actions have dire consequences for the offenders.

As my mother would say and I am sure my reader?s mothers
would agree. ?If you have nothing useful to neither say
nor contribute DON?T engage, spam or leave.? unwanted
comments! (say nothing at all in fact go back to your
cave.) However to those who do leave Vita loving and
kind comments THANK YOU

On a more cheery loving plane I?m of to speak with my
favorite journalist. Wax a little lyrical and catch
up on all things great and gorgeous. Not interested
in junk mail, nor bad attitude.....

Willing to accept only meaningful dialogue and
genuine love

Adam in Hollywood, Vita on the Rockies  -  @ 12:47:pm
Oh what a week it has been on the social trapeze of cosmopolitan
Melbourne.I have been flat out with back-to-back events, testing
out my new personal trainer, trying out elaborate yoga positions
and skiing down fresh mountains.(see above)Not to mention mad and
excitable dashes to the airport and waving friends off to Hollywood.

The charming and remarkably talented Adam Elliot and his divine
producer Melanie Coombs have taken their little plasticine friend
Harvey Krumpet to the Oscar?s. We wept,we waved we wished them
well in their pursuit of the little golden statue.

"Harvey Krumpet" has been nominated for yet another award this
time for best Animation film for 2004 at Hollywood?s most
prestigious awards. With a one in five chance, I feel success
is definitely within ?Cooee?.

I offered final loving words to the intrepid filmmakers ?do keep
yourselves nice, don?t pass out with pleasure nor pain and for
the Goddess within you don?t forget to sleep?.

I feel confident they will return safely having been sent off dressed
to impress, laden with a good supply of Panadol and a loving attitude
to go. My final words of advice alas were drowned out by the sounds
of the safest airline in the world winging it?s way down the tarmac
at Tullamarine.

(Under no circumstance kiss anybody you would not kiss
again!!!)

As Ms Combs and Mr Elliot wing their way in to a brave new future,I
feel a squeal of pleasure coming on as I reflect on the breadth of
talented delightful people that nourish my love filled life. Which
of course brings to mind a favourite wisdom of mine.

What we see in the other is what we have in ourself. Which is
one of lifes great blessing really!! Always spend quality time
with those you love and offer your true self!!

But what of other matters they say. Well big hair is back in
vogue, beetroot is the, new black and scallops are a must have
on the dinner menu in 2004.

Seamless pleasure is always a must, I am pleased to announce
elegant women and gorgeous men are wearing sensible underwear
again. The ?naughties? have brought the polarities of wicked
and wise back together.

Be assured loved ones that the full brief, and lycra filled
knickers will ensure more confidence when trying out those
more intricate Pilates positions. Whether your in Hyde Park
or in the Botanical Gardens in Sth Yarra (Melbourne).

A firm fuller brief can also be less confronting for your personal
trainer while working with you on your upper thighs at the Esplanade
beach front in St Kilda or be at the Excelsior athletic club on East
57th in New York City.

One can have a sense of relief and be less self- conscious about
that creeping feeling in the nether regions beneath your gown or
your tuxedo, while accepting an award at the Oscars or other
important public speaking engagements. Thank Goddess for Bonds
underwear I say.

link zodee.com.au/products/style.asp?style=10J32Y

Personal trainers and producers all over the world are feeling a
sense of relief that fitness comfort and finesse are back in
style. Hollywood folk take note!! Most importantly remember in
these troubled times always take your favourite photographer with
you to document every meaningful moment.

(Makes for better continuity and hope for a loving peaceful future)

Sustainble love, Yaks & Yurts  -  @ 04:49:pm
The dedicated crew from the Sustainable Living Fair in Melbourne
have outdone them selves again in 2004. People came from far and
wide to participate in this wildly wonderful and successful 3 day
event at Federation Square.

link www.slf.org.au

It was impressive to see the commitment from those wanting to display
their wares, and discuss their visions of the future. 114 exhibitors
flaunted their sustainable products and spoke with great enthusiasm
on their benchmarks of change. At times I was often overwhelmed by
such love and found myself caught between tears of relief and squeals
of immense pleasure.

My producer and I were flat out rushing to back to back events,
speaking on all issues great and gorgeous. Who would have thought
Vita would be discussing the diet of worms prey tell and discussing
the merits of worm farms on the patio. Ah ya ya!!

I was compelled to wax a little lyrical with the ?Water Wizz ?
people on re-valuing ones bathing experiences.(It is always
nice to share a chat in the bath be it business or pleasure.
(Always use the hands free and be assured you are saving water).
If you are truly looking to better your karma and reduce water
flow from your lifestyle, value adding a ?water flow control disc?
is a must do!! A marvellous innovation that can reduce water flow
by 9 to 12 litres per minute.Medical research on this issue may well
be considered for those with mini bladder issues!!!

As the event took shape,I was thrilled to ascend my ladder to
get an overview of the capacity of the crowd each day. By day
three I was weary of ascending the ladder. Thank Goddess I was
whisked forth, by an exotic young man to the higher regions above
base camp where I was able to observe those sustaining their futures.

It was a truly splendid view of the whole event laid out banquet
style, from a greater height than my ladder could ever provide.
Splendid Sustainability in all its colour texture height. Over
the three days 50.000 consciously loving and aware individuals
were out there in a Melbourne summer experiencing sustainability
in action. A divine pleasure to be lived again and again.

I was tempted by magic men and Reiki healings, given sound advice
from elegant ethical women and swept into past life?s in Mongolian
Yurt?s. Oh memories of bare backed horse riding on the summer Mongolian Plains. Oh what a time we had, oh how we laughed filled with a knowing
that our love and lifestyle are indeed sustainable

Vita's Vibrant Melbourne  -  @ 02:34:pm
It has officially been announced that I am living in the most
livable city in the world Melbourne. A favourite astrologer
of mine says that Melbourne is a capricorn town. This gives
Melbourne a cosmopolitan, elegant, reliable edge. I
believe an honest city filled with grace and a good heart.
Of course this becomes apparent to those in the know, yet nice
to have it affirmed in these precarious and uncertain times.

link www.bigbox.com.au

In my opinion Melbourne provides an opportunity, unsurpassed
outside of New York, to eat the cuisine of ones liking all year
round. Melbourne is a multicultural delight of taste sensations.
Offering up an opportunity in the steamer months to eat El-Fresco
style. However it is advisable to bring your own umbrella or have
out door overhead heating in the brisker months.(and possibly your
gumboots).

The choices for gourmet travel throughout Melbourne is endless.
My dedicated team and I flit from island paradise and land locked
continental banquets from season to season. Oh for heady summer
nights drinking frascati and nibbling on sicilian stewed
artichokes,in Carlton. (our inner city little Italy.)

Exquiste memories of Peking Duck and the sound of fire crackers
as we celebrated the coming year of the Monkey. ( Little Bourke
St Chinatown in the CBD.) When I am weary of the social whirl
an intimate soiree on the patio is just the shot. Nothing fancy,
just a quick simple lime and lemongrass marinated chicken with
tabbouli. Mmmm... leaves friends begging for more and squealing
with pleasure.

In the fresher more chilly seasons we are often moved to tears
with traditional borscht and bulgarain ballads in the southern
beach suburbs of Melbourne. Being a multi tasker eating bratwurst
and sauerkraut, on saturday mornings is a comforting must do. This
is a traditional favourite for diehard Melbournians, while
contemplating the international deli section at the Victoria
Market.(CBD)

Versatility also goes straight to the heart of our ever changing
weather patterns. Although stable in it?s attitude and outlook
Melbourne has wild mood swings with its weather. Four seasons
in one day is not uncommon. Makes a wee Goddess?s fluctating
moods seem quite reasonable to the discerning eye. Possibly
not so reckless as one might have been led to believe.

Such impetuous weather may appear tiresome to some. However
it allows for spontaneous shopping experiences and the thrill
of disrobing, ones many layers, in unexpected places. The
layered effect can be so elegant given the right wrap and quite
exciting as one unwraps ones layers.

The weather changes can be quite surprising for those from other
regions Possibly a little overwhelming and excessive.I must say
the two V's are both appealing holiday destinations. Vancouver
and Vienna coming an elegant and understated second in the race
for livable sustainable cities.

I must speak to my travel agent on the best time of year to travel
to these fine cities. A Northern 5 star junket sounds fabulous
to promote the finer issues of ?Marvellous Melbourne?. Hmmm?....
Vita goes Vienna and Vancouver excellent idea. Must upgrade my
ice skating skills and finish knitting that cashmere scarf.

In the mean time I will be found in attendance at the annual
Sustainable Living Fair at Melbourne's new "Art's Precinct"
Federation Square this weekend. Earnestly engaged on a panel
examining the finer points of saving water. (take a bath with
the one you love), and closely examining what savouries really
do work with wheat grass????

Men who love fully  -  @ 08:44:am
Timeless birthdays and advice from Calagary

Well the countdown has begun 3 weeks til Vita's birthday
extravangacer the party of the year. "A significant day
for a significant woman" those in the know have said.
However when push comes to shove it's just go go go....
With party preparation at a pitch. Guest lists to update,
invites to get out menu's to assemble not to mention locating
the perfect venue in winter, in Melbourne. But thank Goddess
for teams in the regions, who have been there, done that.
With the grace of the Goddess offering up their wise and
enlightened advice for my birthday bash.

"This is not a time to panic - this is a time to be worldly cool
and sophisticated - much like Vita - why not try to be like Vita -
yes ....yuk yuk..." Everybody's doing it!!!

"Hope your party plans are going well - check the
floorboards, inform the neighbors, check your insurance
liability - MR PRACTICAL today ...and have FUN eh."
(advice from JFK an adoring and loving soul) (and from another
great visionary man)

"All you really have to do is smile sweetly and let what
needs to happen, happen. You don?t think it can possibly
be so easy? Give it a try. The sky now suggests you are about
to get a reward for all the courage and commitment
you have lately shown. In order to claim this, you may first
have to hold a crucial conversation. But that will prove easier
than you think."

With deep love for practical loving men who act from love not
fear. Lesser men will never be on Vita's montain. So be the
mountain climber you truly are. Let go of the fear and just be
yourself.
So very ready to share the love
for (DB) a gift from Vita

So ready for the best love  -  @ 10:29:am
Be proud of who you are and what you become, consider your own sacred plan. Share your sacred plan with the one you wish to share the best of your love with.

Be discerning and discreet with the one you wish to emulate, love them, as you would have yourself loved. Keep a healthy distance between business and pleasure /leisure. Know the difference and be respectful and understanding of the others position. However remind yourself to speak from the heart without fear of rejection. Timing is everything.

As a dear friend of mine says,'it's all about shopping darling" So relax get out and about. Checkout some new and exotic locales. Go back in time and click on the link below indulge your senses, and let the roll unravel, wrap your self in vintage pleasure.

Wisdom from his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama  -  @ 11:36:pm
"We find that not only do altruistic actions bring about happiness but they also lessen our experience of suffering. Here I am not suggesting that the individual whose actions are motivated by the wish to bring others? happiness necessarily meets with less misfortune than the one who does not."

"Sickness, old age, mishaps of one sort or another are the same for
us all. But the sufferings which undermine our internal peace anxiety, doubt, disappointment these things are definitely less. In our concern for others, we worry less about ourselves. When we worry less about ourselves an experience of our own suffering is less intense."

"What does this tell us? Firstly, because our every action has a universal dimension, a potenial impact on others? happiness, ethics are necessary as a means to ensure that we do not harm others. Secondly, it tells us that genuine happiness consists in those spiritual qualities of love, compassion, patience, tolerance and forgiveness and so on. For it is these which provide both for our happiness and others? happiness."

Ladders and Life  -  @ 06:52:pm
The Ladder

Ladders are a must have in my larder and the ladder of
life. Just as olive oil is essential in Melbourne cooking
Goddess- Stephanie Alexanders, larder. The ladder for me
is an absolute must HAVE. Late at night searching out that
hidden bottle of Bollinger and rediscovering that cheeky
yet, enterprising venture of home preserves.

An inspired moment of invention a striking combination
of hazelnut, passionfruit, nutmeg with a dash of honey.
Delicious rubbed in
!!!!

Yes indeed the ladder has taken my life to a whole new
dimension Giving me hope about the rediscovery Jupiter &
products from the past.

My talented and spiritual sister took life by the horns
and gave me a gorgeous and rather smart, ?easy to carry
stores easily, step ladder? for my birthday.

"Less tricky and practical than last year?s roller blades,
which are not practical on a patio really."

Some of the finer aspects of this newfound toy are its
"steps with slip resistant face". This is great blessing
having recently fallen from a great height. Narrowly
missing a foot bath of Vodka and cranberry, specially
prepared by my favourite paparazzi.

Having contemplated the tragic loss of Diana, I am of
the firm belief that one must always include ones OWN
paparazzi, in ones less intimate yet fun activities.
This makes for less tears, less litigation, less running
about, and spilling of drinks

In fact it is the best solution and reduces the anxiety
for all involved.

One can feel confident the proofs are suitable and there is
a steady hand and camera to capture those special moments
that one direct ones self.

Speaking of film shoots another fabulous aspect of this new
ladder is that it folds flat for easy cartage and storage.
Fitting snuggly amongst the gaffers gear and can be hired
out for extra cash.

Being a keen enthusiast for extreme activities and mountain
climbing the new ladder has been an immeasurable help in
a range of hard to reach places. I am now shopping on those
shelves I?ve never seen before. Why is it that Hellmans and
Soya Mayonnaise is always on the highest shelf?

It?s been terrific at all Melbourne Festivals, which are
endless. Full of remarkably tall elegant people unaware
that elegance can creep up from below.

I must say though, on those days when one has forgotten
the ladder (Goddess/Lord forbid), elegance and height are
winners!!!

Like the occasional chair comes in use, so does climbing
the elegant human ladder. A little forward you may say, but
really a lovely way to meet new people.

Intimacy really has gone off the boil since internet dating.
The ladder has been a marvellous help at the movies, I have
found it useful if you?re at the Lumiere in the front row. A
must have at the tennis, particularly if you would like to
meet the umpire and share a little back hand advice.

Not one to baulk at a good time, this wee Goddess will delight
in a range of leisure pursuits and political pursuits on the
ladder yet to be named. Out with the soapbox in with ladder.

Dancing, singing laughing and of course wiping away the
tears of joy from my favourite Mountain climbers
eyes are all part of the grand plan on this new toy.

The heady birthday whirl is slipping by and I feel a great
need to retire to the bath. Which has had a major revamp and
is feeling a little Cecil B De Mille. (Expansive and Roman)

I now have more room and quality time to spend with my
inspired and courageous mountain climber. Knowing he is
keeping his wings warm and moist. Looking forward to his
days in the sun on the mountaintop with a a golden ladder
and his wee Goddess!!!!
Let there be endless practical pleasure
