Building the Bridge of Reconcillation [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 04:49:am
BE OPEN TO GENUINE RECONCILIATION.
To know what people really think, pay regard to what
they do, rather than what they say.
George Santayana
GETUP AND SING FROM THE HEART
"Right now we have an historic opportunity to turn
the momentum generated by February's apology into
real reconciliation. WE can ALL help make that a
reality by joining a simple conversation, taking
place nationwide on April 29th.
Already almost 200 hosts, Indigenous and non
Indigenous, have put up their hands everywhere
from Alice Springs to Annandale to host a
'Reconciliation GetTogether'.
Click the link below now for your place in the
national conversation making cultural history:
(then the click the "get together" link)
linkwww.getup.org.au/community/
On the night, we'll also be celebrating
the launch of our new song with the fabulous
Paul Kelly, Kev gorgeous Carmody, Urthboy &
the divine Missy Higgins.....
linkwww.kevcarmody.com.au/
A song that will ignite the airwaves with our
message, and together we'll send it and that
message to number one. A song alone can't change
a nation, a grassroots movement for change can.
At 7pm on April 29th, thousands of Australians,
Indigenous and non-Indigenous, will be sitting
down together to build a bridge of understanding.
It's not the sort of conversation we'll have everyday,
However THIS is a conversation that WE simply must
HAVE. TRUE and genuine dialogue is the ONLY way for
this to occur..Reconciliation will take an inclusive
approach by the entire nation.
RSVP now to spend an evening creating a brighter future,
or sign up to host an event if there's none in ones own
community. It is a night you will surely remember:
This year the ground has shifted on Indigenous issues
and the nation has started to move. A grassroots
movement driving reconciliation forward is essential..
So make a commitment to this conversation Join us on
April 29th to be a part of this national
initiative."
Thanks for being a part of the conversation,

The benefits of DCQ [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 04:49:pm
One must always be expanding the worth and
sense of what is desirable in ALL our most
important relationships and of course our
world.
When we do, we find that all possibilities
are enhanced and able to grow fully. Never
count the cost of love, always assess the
investment of ones love.
It is well worth taking risks and being
open to the heart and these possibilities.
Be in every moment and act from courage.
Make right what has seemed elusive and
appears seemingly untouchable in ones
heart?Have the courage to love. Dare
to live fully. Allow ones brave heart
to shine!
Have self- confidence and ones courageous
spirit will be uncompromising when offering
genuine love. Be patient and compassionate,
self-disciplined and strong. One will
inevitably reap great rewards from this
courage.
Live the dream and revalue discernment
courage and quality. All must DO's in our
daily practice!!

Bliss filled journey [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 09:36:am
Best practice is to make conscious choices with ones love.
It allows one to be in charge of the steps along ones path.
It opens US to love and live a full life. Being one with
love filled purpose is the only one we need to be! Be
very aware that devil is lived spelt backwards.. So live
and love with conscious love.. Do not abandon nor deny
oneself, nor the other the conscious love. one has found
on ones journey...
Then one is truly living with Bliss/VITA/Shakti..

Goddess creativity @ Madonna joy [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 01:01:pm
Kurt has left his Manhattan Mountain top for ever!!
and as he often eluded to --Time stops for NO ONE
with false elevation and unfounded pride......He
was a risk taker and said it how he saw it was. He
rarely spoke with hesitation or fear of genuine
truth.... ( Take note John and George)
NO NOT the Beatles my dears...!!)See Kurt's view
below on the Beatles...
"I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without
going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of
things you can't see from the center."
"I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is
to make people appreciate being alive at least a little
bit.I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that
off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.
linkwww.vonnegutweb.com/archives/arc_americans.html
Then we at VITA are inclined to think the Jazz Madonna/ Ella has shown US this TOO...
linkwww.ellafitzgerald.com/
"It isn't where you came from, its where you're going that counts."
Ella Fitzgerald
"I would like to go to heaven to ask somebody in charge
up there, 'Hey, what was the good news and what was the
bad news?'
Kurt Vonnegut
And this from Kurt's Auntie......
He remembered an aunt once telling him, "'All Vonnegut men
are scared to death of women.' "
So don't be this is "so last century' so "passe" so
patriarchal (fear of the other).. VERY unnecessary......
as we say here at VITA.

A POEM BY KURT TOWARD TO THE END.......
When the last living thing
has died on account of us,
how poetical it would be
if Earth could say,
in a voice floating up
perhaps
from the floor
of the Grand Canyon,
"It is done."
People did not like it here.
Kurt Vonnegut (1922-2007)
This poem is very sad really... one can LOVE and like
"here or there" .... LOVE NOT WAR!!
Always plausible @ ready to go the edge
to peer into the unknown... BE ready to give ones life
a Goddess worthy good TIME ...and a giggle with LOTS of
gorgeousness and fabulous moments to come..
In memory of Kurt
AND remember to be really naughty if not plain about
the mouth as our Minnie would say
Always willing too seek out a man's G spot
of course I am speaking Shiatsu and ones giggle
spot.... of course!!

Temptation and True Love [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 03:51:pm
"Life is not a support system for art. It's the other way around."
Stephen King
To tell and speak ones truth in ALL situations is always is an
art form. Fantasy and others fears result in temporary
pleasure @ complete dis/satisfaction.
Truth genuine love honesty and integrity must always be paramount.
To do this is to create a whole experience @ essential to a far
reaching fulfilling LIFE/VIITA....?One must be mindful of BEST
practice at all TIMES????
When dealing with other beings, one must NOT misrepresent or be
false in anything one says or offers? Being totally mindful and
aware of just what ones says and making it as transparent honest
and kind to oneself?. and the other is best practice?..
It will then be a reflection of the truth, as one can perceive
it this is true mindfulness. Be aware?.BE very aware not to
create deceit and pain for ones self or the other....
When one practices the art of truthfulness within one self
one, cannot, betray oneself or the other? One is then not
trying to look at things other than as they really are.
Seeing things mindfully, with full consciousness and
awareness; this allows the whole and entire Practice of
Buddha being??..
When one becomes very honest and truly living with love,
instinctively the wisdom of consideration and good karma
arises. One then is loving in a natural way because one is
no longer trying to get or be something other than what is ?????
Love and respect the other as one would be have ones
self love and respected........

Mindfulness kindness and courage [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 03:50:pm
Life is often filled with superficial reasoning. pretense ongoing self
deception and false hope. Mind adventure and desire will always offer
great temptation that demands our consideration. Often resulting with
conflict between ones head and ones heart...
One can often be lost in assumption, second guessing and attached to
false belief that more data will change the outcome?? Be aware of ones
karmic choices?..Be aware of ones intentions because they will indeed
create the result one manifested.
Never finish the movie before you have developed the characters and
edited fully?Create the lyrics one chooser?s to sing? Say the words
that resonate genuine truth respect for yourself and offer love to
the other.
Keep ones feet planted in reality do not drift from the initial
commitment one has made. Be aware of days to come. Explore ones
creative frontiers be the adventure and be conscious of ones
choices.

troubles??courage in ones own?????

Plasma TV and the great pretender [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 07:19:am
There are always new ways in which one can connect
with what's most important in ones life???..
Little Johnnie has suggested we don?t over extend ourselves.
Well he would be the expert on that ???..Being a man of the
past NOT the future and certainly NOT really living a true
present. One wonders when he will scale down his aspirations.
Leave his Plasma/smoke screen behind and move off shore ASAP
(Nauru perhaps)?????
Which in fact is a choice he could make.....IT did wonders
for Malcolm's (Fraser) integrity. It appeared almost
seamless when Malcolm moved to compassion and integrity
for the OTHER!!! After living for so LONG in the BIG end
of TOWN......Very brave indeed.....
linkwww.careaustralia.org.au
John and Janettes NEXT MOVE
I can see it NOW Foreign Corespondent ABC (OUR
ABC) ???....Or that other commercial station, (that does)
?Where are they NOW?, Asking exactly that....
Mmmm here is a sneak preview... A keen film crew catching
up with OUR John & Janette, on a dangerous leaky boat.
Having recently aquired, (with some trepidation)
in exchange for their frequent flyer points.
This extra ordinary exchange being with some rather
nice Indonesian fisherman, they met on tour of an US
run prison in what could be Broome or the other place
"W......a".
Looking foward NOT back..... Bravely on their way to
find compassion??Mmmmmm the wind in their hair NOT a
care in the world, heading north to a deserted island
to see how the other half is living??.
A world exclusive ?? ?John and Janette?s compassionate
adventure?
Nice opening shot of John, falling/ being pushed over
board??? After fighting with Janette for the last lick
of the banana skin ??.. (Which we suspect) was stolen
from Coffs Harbour, hidden in their luggage. Later to be
justified as an export product if border control catch up
with them first. Or to be used as an item of exchange with
pirates on the high seas......
A moving 2 part series where J and J, make true connection
and extending themselves well beyond anybodies expectations
or knowledge of them....
The bets are on for who will get this exclusive if NOT
remarkable and extraordinarily UNLIKELY scenario?...
It would be fabulous television, could be hailed up there,
with ?Billies efforts? in Beaconsfield??.
Final scenario could be Eddie?s people making an offer
and buying Nauru. Solving their economic whoa?s,
reinventing commercial TV as a philanthropic entity??
Not to mention reinstating Australia as a compassionate
country comming to the AID of those in NEED.........
Mmmmm absolutely perfect?. Nice work OUR ABC?..
We can BUT hope that good KARMA will catch up with them
in this life time??..As it appears to me if it doesn?t,
they may well find themselves in a precarious positon in
their NEXT life. Living in a growth corridor in a house
they can ill afford. With an anologue TV, 3 children with
ADD, weight issues (due to poor diet,)..... and NO
knowledge of five star hotels.... NOR what a Qantas
Frequent Flyer Buffet would possibly offer??
Is John one of the great Pretenders or a genuine and
supportive friend of the people? Will he truly ?Stand
by you/one? in those tricky times? When there are NO
banana smoothies, one still can NOT afford the electric
car let alone the call out fee for the TV repair man and
Foxtel is a thing of the past......
AND one has taken onboard that really darling that
latte every 3rd Thursday, on the High st really is a
LUXURY that could be LET GO OF.

Om and "kissing zen" [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 10:06:am
Discernment is the ability to see a reason for it all and
the part one plays in it's creation.... A liberation from
oppressor or victim. An ability to trust ones self and
carry out the divine within one. Discernment it's real
& worthy, it's worth considering.
Focus on the foundation of how and what one values in
relationship. Consider what one says and whether it
resonates the truth of the matter?? Do ones words come
from love and crafting a healthier life??? Or are they
based in judgement and fear of the past present and
future??
What role does one want to play in the world??Is it a
walk on role or a main part?? Does one dance the dance
& love the steps.. ?? Skip to the beat of the songs in
ones heart. Fit well into the spaces one is in?? Or do
others RULE ones walking/ or control the way things work
for one???
Let go of the illussion of seperation love and value
the things that matter let go of OLD RULES & restrictions.
Speak out where you have previously been silent. Cease
old judgements of self and the other. Let go of self
imposed judgements ( ones own or others), that simply
create illusions of seperation.
Allow oneself to love fully and see those one loves
from a new perspective . Be inspired by the knowledge
one can succeed and move forward. Be daring delicious
and yet realistic.....Valuing oneself should be based
on what one is doing, not on what one has not done.......

Happiness is an essential ingredient of life. Virtue,
honesty and being and feeling valued is the foundation
of ones happiness. ?Utility is the test of virtue?.
If the wise are to be happy ?as the sages say, they
must be virtuous too.? For without virtue honesty and
value, happiness cannot be.
Interesting lifes are essential to ensuring / bringing
about happiness. Indeed, the whole art of being happy
consists in the art of valuing ones self and how one

Love is sharing. Love is not lonely. Love is

He has let go of his country of origin in North East
England and taken in a remarkable life and musical

of Japan and the opulence of Brunei,?
Malcolm has found the perfect place to put further pieces
together for his new live show, in the idyllic setting of
Murdunna. A remote South East coast corner of Tasmania.
Overlooking the waters of ?King George Sound?. Murdunna

?Rock Art?, and audiences are in for an amazing," and
quite possibly moving ?spiritual? experience.

last night, Casey Donavan, was singing her marathon to
its delightful new beginning.
Casey was certainly not being idle in her desire to live
the dream and sing her marathon through to its fullest
potential. She was indeed becoming the new darling of pop.
The new IDOL of Australian music. I did however arrive home
?spent? from ten hours of ?extreme singing? at the Retreat.
capturing her frantic final dash to the finish line.
The announcement was made at the final IDOL concert at the
Sydney Opera House. Truly a singing Goddess is Casey, she is
the new and divine look of pop. "Changed paradigms and changing
minds" of what a naughties IDOL can be. A blessing a gift from
the heavens is she. Casey is 16-years-old and lives in Bankstown
in NSW.
It would appear many thought Anthony Callea could pip her
at the post. Yet not I Vita not being a devotee of the show
I saw enough to know she would win. It is Casey?s day in
the sun. Interestingly the voting public thought so to.
Casy sang her way over the line, to surpass the gorgeous
and rather charming voice of Anthony Callea.
At last there is movement at the jukebox. The country has
seen the light and realized that an IDOL can be many things
to many people. Frankly my dears it is about time if only
they had thought that on federal election- day 2004!
Casey spoke graciously about ?(Anthony) is a great guy and
I can't thank everybody enough?. ?As Australian Idol winner,
Casey secures a recording contract with label Sony BMG.
She will have only nine days to record her debut album before
embarking on an intensive promotional tour. Her first
single off the album will be the emotive ballad:
"Listen with Your Heart."penned by US songwriter
Diane Warren. The single was released on the Internet
immediately after the announcement and will be in stores
later this week.?
Back to my day in the sun with ?CMV? and those who sung
along yesterday at the Retreat Hotel. ?Peach Crumble?
was divine and must be thanked for her lovely ?Banquet
songs? In particular her salad song that gives a whole
new meaning to ?singing for your supper?.
Other highlights included the lovely Annemarie Sharry who
gently cajoled us into the harmonies of East Africa Along
with Phil Heuzenroeder who took us through our paces in the
Gospel hour. Reminding me of my days in Mombassa. Mmmmm???
The fabulous Richard Lawton and Christop Maubach kept the
heart beating and the soul a life through till 8.00pm. With
a final fling at heart felt songs from the cashmere voice of
Rebecca Spalding. I left knowing Kavisha Mazzella and Faye White
would leave the crowd begging for more ?and knowing it is time
to ?Listen with your heart?

"How soon is now" [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 06:41:am
One can leave ones best work til later or do what one can
do now. One can leave ones best love til last or consider
what makes love linger and live on.
One can leave ones best ideas on the shelf or allow the ideas
to grow and expand. One can leave ones best memories behind
or carry them with us always. One can leave the one we love
but we will never forget that love.
One can live with one?s fear of the unknown or be fearless
and find out. One can live with a sense of contentment or
one can find out what makes one content.
One can be accommodating those around one or ignore ones
own needs. One can appear self-sacrificing, while offering
unconditional support Or one can be comfortable with setting
boundaries that incorporate the needs of the whole. One can
have expectations that will never be met. Or state ones needs
and always feel at ease. One can define ones terms to another
but rarely examine what those terms mean to another.
One can live with a sense of uncertainty or accept that life
is continually changing. One can re-examine ones past and re-
invent a better future. One can let go of ones perceived bad
memories and recreate better memories. One can live in the
"garden of ones delight? and watch it flourish into a paradise
of a future yet to arrive.

Sarah remembers her love [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 11:57:am
I Will Remember You (by Sarah McLachlan, Seamus Egan, and Dave Merenda)
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard
But I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to loose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light
And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Weep not for the memories

Bulgarian men will sing form the heart [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 01:38:am
"Bulgarians are born and die with music. Special songs
are sung when a child is born;" at weddings- a number of special
songs are sung for different moments of the ceremony. These can last
for several days; and when a person dies - they weep over them
with special funeral laments till the 40th day of the persons death.
In the field, at harvest time, women use to sing wondrous songs,
connected with hard labour. Beautiful rich ornamented melody floats
over the field which delighted the harvesters.
Men prove themselves, singing epic, historic, novels songs, accompanied by rebec. Such a song sometimes lasts for 3 or 4 hours like Omyr?s "Iliad" or
"Odyssey". Dance-songs and instrumental music are particularly rich in asymmetric measures. Melodies accompanying dances are full with dynamics and strength. Bulgarians play dances at every time - they start dancing
in the afternoon and continue till midnight or sometimes even till
next morning.
Every region in Bulgaria has its own folk music. These are the folk music regions :-Thrace, Pirin, Shopluk, Rhodopies and North Bulgaria.

A Canadian Goddess [Vita's music links] -
vitalingus - @ 07:12:pm
Sarah McLachlan was born on the 28 January 1968, in Bedford, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Sarah McLachlan is a remarkable "singer- songwriter who has featured on the Canadian folk scene since she was a 20-year-old. Through a series of well-received albums and tours has blossomed into a well-rounded folk-rock artist and a confident live performer. Her third album, 1994's Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, was produced by Daniel Lanois'. and "Pierre Marchand." This album "was inspired partly by a disturbing trip the singer undertook with the World Vision charity to Cambodia and Thailand."
"In 1997, McLachlan inaugurated the Lilith Fair touring festival, a hugely successful showcase for female artists. "Adia", taken from her US number 2 album Surfacing, proved to be an enduring radio hit, eventually climbing to number 3 on the singles chart in August 1998. In October 2000 she had success with "Silence". A four year old collaboration with electronica duo Delerium. As on all her releases her earthy voice is the perfect vehicle for songs about the deeper, darker aspects of the human condition."
